JA Bulgaria organises the first innovative workshop on “Why Europe Matters”. 50 students will gather at the University of Economics in Varna to discuss the future of Europe and bring innovative ideas with support of business volunteers from Solvay.
The project has three strategic objectives:
to promote active civic behavior;
to give voice to the importance of Europe (EU);
to demonstrate the commitment of business to the future of Europe
Format: Innovation camp
Round 1: Participants will be working in teams on a case study with the help of mentors. Presentations to the jury and selection of three best ideas and team
Round 2: Interviews with the three teams and a selection of 4 people who will present ideas to the European institutions in March 2018 in Brussels

10:00 – 10:30 – Official opening
10:30 – 11:00 – Introductory presentation
11:00 – 11: 30Instruction for “breaking the ice”. Division by teams.
11:30 – 12:30 First round. Set Case Study. Teamwork.
12:30 – 13:00 Lunch.
13:00 – 15:00 Second round. Working with business volunteers. Preparation of a presentation.
15.00 – 17.00 Presentation in front of the jury. Choose the best three ideas.
